If you didn't already know, LittleBigPod now has an official account on PSN! We are showcasing levels that are not as well known and that truly are hidden gems! We will post the links below for the new Pod Picks as they are published!

nice. How do we get a chance to have our levels introduced to the Pod picks ?


Or is that part of the Pod of the month type deal ?

Right now, we are just picking levels based on what we have played, but we will have to have a way to suggest levels in the near future.

Since we are picking "unknown" levels, it is a lot harder to find levels to put in there... I will probably add a suggestions thread one of these days, or if you guys think of a better system, let us know!

Sounds good to me, just dont pick any levels from the cool lvls page. Over half of them now-n-days are rotten.

When should we start again? we havent done this in a long time now.

i was thinking of having a new theme for the next one, the theme for the first 2 was sci fi. I was thinking of a forest theme, if you have any suggestions for themes, just let me know.

Forest theme. Did you ever get a chance to see my Snooty Literary Theater level ?

The first scene is in a forest, set up in parrallax. Some thing like that would work.

Then again a forest scene some thing like the old NES Zelda would be cool.



I could see spiders or bats perhaps droping down the levels for players to enter.

Whats the time frame for this theme ? Fall season ? I't would fit nice with a halloweenish feel.

Or was you thinking some more of a bright lit forest ?

On another note, what is the limit on the DLC thats going to go into this theme. I can contribute as much or as little. I own 99% of all the DLC.

In september sometime when i get some money i will be getting toystory pack, I already have most level kits.

The first Pod Picks Level has over 2000 plays btw, but not many people play it anymore, but hopefully we will get more plays on this one!

The one I've made a rough for isn't as bright as the image im working with. It's close enough though. Let me know if its to dark, I can try and brighten it a bit more.

That brightness is ok.

How far have you got so far?

just what you see in the picture. I have the parallax in place. It still needs more to it though. Right now its just kind of blah.







These first two are of an over view of the forest with a Boo like animation and a moon rise. My goal for this scene is to have the ghost and moon animated. Once that clip is over the Fonts with the forum name and the tittle of the level will appear.







These two photos are the animation sprite for Boo. You'll flip out once you see it all in motion.

The animation for the spider is nearly complete. I have him running along the tops of the trees. If my work allows I might be able to work in the spiders animation for "picking up the pod picks level".
